We were saddened to hear about Uncle Geoff and send our love and condolences to his family. He was an exceptionally kind friend to our parents Ray and Liz, not just when we were neighbours but for many years after we moved to Abingdon and Radley. I don’t think I would have managed to survive at university without Uncle Geoff’s efforts sorting out my covenant and grant on behalf of my mum! I remember how exciting it was to travel in his beautiful car to Bournemouth for a day trip to the seaside with Susan. I still remember fondly the little tin of travel sweets in the glove box! And happy days in the long summer holidays playing space hopper jumping and racing games over his lawn with Susan! Sorry if we ruined it! Rest in peace Uncle Geoff.
